How the Rush setlist configurations work
Why letters, and what the names mean
Rush is not playing one fixed show on the Fifty Something Tour. The band rotates between distinct setlist configurations, so this tracker gives each one a letter and a phonetic-alphabet name to keep fan conversation unambiguous:

Primary group vs. derivative configurations
Setlist A, Setlist B, Setlist C and Setlist D are this site's primary rotation group, used for the exclusivity and comparison analysis you see in the grid. Setlist E, Setlist F and Setlist G are derivative or observed configurations tracked from actual tour evidence; they stay visible and comparable, but they are not treated as equal primary templates in those summaries. That distinction matters when you read the grid: an “only” label always refers to the primary group.
What stays the same, and what moves
10 songs appear in every tracked configuration — the backbone of the night. Another 27 rotate in and out, which is what actually makes one night different from the next. You can see the exact split in the grid above: darker cells are played at every show, lighter cells are the rotating and rare material.

Substitutions and variations
A show can match a configuration and still differ from it. When a completed show clearly belongs to one base family but changes some songs, or reorders part of a set, it keeps that family’s letter and the differences are recorded explicitly as a variation. The base configuration itself never changes. Where a single slot has been filled by more than one song across shows, it is shown as a variable slot listing every song observed there. So far 0 of 13 verified performances carried at least one substitution.
Which setlist will you get?
Setlist A (Alpha) has been used most often so far, with 3 verified performances. The forecast considers venue-run position and recent verified patterns rather than raw use totals alone, so the tracker forecasts per show rather than pointing at a single favourite. Look up your date on the show directory for the current prediction, check the next show, or read what Rush played most recently. Predictions are fan analysis of verified data, not a published production sheet.
